defying gravity
It’s one of those days where Blaine and I are putting off homework to spend some quality time together.
Hmm, I’m not entirely sure. I’ve never asked because it’s all for the art of performance. But now that I think about it, he was very… attentive that first night when we got home…
Yes! He went to the very first one and then he attends once a month. I don’t want to make him waste a perfectly good Friday night at the theatre seeing a show he’s seen before! He’s attended about 4. He went twice the first month.
I am! I play Frank-N-Furter. I was a little wary of it at first. I mean, obvious gay guy playing the transvestite in fish nets and a corset, but they managed to convince me and it’s a blast. I’ve been in it for about 3 months, maybe?
It was a series of events, actually. I started working at Vogue.com a few weeks after I moved here. I skipped 2 full semester of college, the first I had no choice, the second semester was because I was going through a change in dreams which is never easy. I decided that fashion was the road to take and I left performing completely. Well, a few months ago, I got the bug again, mainly due to Rachel’s constant buzzing about performance and I missed the feeling so I started looking at small theatres and I found the one that did the audience participation of RHPS and I auditioned! I’m really glad I did too, it gives me my performance kicks. Fashion was definitely the way to go for me and the tiny performance on the side is perfect.
Oh, it was very low key. He did it in front of a few of our friends and an entire coffee house full of strangers with song. I would have been embarrassed if I weren’t so completely floored and thrilled that I was getting engaged. I had actually made plans of proposing to him, but he beat me to the punch and I’m perfectly fine with that.
My favorite thing? It’s so hard to pin down one thing. But I love waking up next to him because it reminds me that he’s always there. I don’t think we’ve spent a night apart since we moved into our own apartment. Now, there have been a few nights when Rachel would come over because Brody was busy with rehearsal and she’d wedge herself between us. But we’ve always been together when we’ve woken up.
It just reminds me that we’ve made it to this point in our lives and I’m very grateful for that.
Work, and now I’m getting ready for my RHPS performance. Fridays are always so busy for me. I don’t remember the last time I was able to go out with Blaine on a Friday, I always come home so exhausted. Maybe tonight we’ll have a little time after the show before I crash. While I’m getting ready, is there anything you’d like to know? I’ll answer some TMI. As long as they’re tasteful.
Can we cuddle in our PJs and watch a movie?
Of course. You pick the movie and I’ll grab Norman and Audrey. And sweetie, try not to pick something we’ve seen 10 times this month. Or 10 times last month.

Hmmm… I remember just being concerned about a certain friend of mine, not wanting him to get into trouble someday. Then I just happened to realize how much I wanted to be with that friend. But notice that I did not date this boy just because his recent knowledge in sex.
